1. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order with Gibsons Turf (TJG Turf & Groundworks), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not place an order.

2. Orders & Quotes

  • All quotes are estimates only and may vary based on final measurements and conditions.
  • Orders are confirmed upon payment of deposit or full payment (as agreed).
  • Prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are subject to change without notice on future orders.
  • We reserve the right to decline any order at our discretion.

3. Delivery

  • Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Delays due to weather, traffic, or unforeseen circumstances may occur.
  • You are responsible for ensuring adequate site access for delivery vehicles.
  • If delivery cannot be completed due to access issues, a re-delivery fee may apply.
  • Risk of loss or damage transfers to the customer upon delivery.

4. Product Quality

  • All turf is freshly harvested and inspected before delivery.
  • Minor variations in colour and density are normal and not considered defects.
  • Turf must be laid within 24 hours of delivery for best results. Failure to lay promptly may affect establishment and is the customer's responsibility.
  • We do not accept returns of perishable turf once delivered.

5. Installation (Supply & Lay)

  • Installation quotes assume adequate soil preparation by the customer unless otherwise stated.
  • We are not responsible for underground services, irrigation, or cables. The customer must mark all underground services before work commences.
  • A 48-hour establishment watering period is required after installation, and the customer is responsible for this.

6. Payment

  • Payment terms are as agreed at time of order confirmation.
  • Full payment is typically required prior to or upon delivery.
  • Outstanding invoices may attract interest at 1.5% per month.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Gibsons Turf's liability for any claim is limited to the value of the goods or services provided in the relevant order. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Victorian courts.
